On Friday were
played the games of the 16th round of the Russian Super League.
At home, Fe
Garay’s Dinamo Moscow faced Zarechye Odintsovo, fifth place in the table. In the
early two sets, a good balance between
teams. In both, Odintsovo had the set
point in hands, but could not convert the chance. Dinamo took advantage of the
lack of experience of opponents and opened 2x0. After losing the first two
partial, the Odintsovo lost their will and saw the Dinamo close the match at
3-0 (26-24, 27-25, 25-15). Goncharova put down 23 points, while Voronkova
scored 13 for Odintsovo. With the win the Muscovites remain five points ahead
of the rival Kazan, vice-leader of the competition.
Fighting to keep in third place, Dinamo Krasnodar visit Kazan, but without Kosheleva was no match for Gamova’s Dinamo, 3-0 (25-21, 25-19, 25-22).The Russian superstar left the court as the highest scorer of the match with 18 points, for Krasnodar, Malik was the top scorer with 15. The Krasnodar remained third with 29 points, but have played a game more than the Uralochka that not played in the round and also has 29.
The Yenisei received Omichka and count with 19 points from Yuliya Bessonnaya to close the game at 3-1.
Proton went
to Voronezh and secured the three points, and managed remain on the
run for a spot at the Final Four. Anna Makarova from
Proton was the top scorer with 21 recorded.
