Brazil National Team has its path defined in the pursuit of its 3rd gold medal in Olympic history.

This monday where defined the National Teams that will be part of each of the two groups of the first phase of the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.

Based on the current position in the ranking of the FIVB, the teams were divided into two groups,  A and B. 

Brazil, as the host country has become an automatic top seeds, which left the United States and China in the same key. In Group A, were Brazil, Russia, Japan, South Korea, Argentina and Cameroon. In Group B are the United States, China, Serbia, Italy, the Netherlands and Puerto Rico.

Advance to the second stage, the four best Teams placed within each group.
