WOMENS
Brazil and Japan played this weekend in Campinas, in the series of friendlies to celebrate 120 years of the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation between the two countries.
Were two games where Brazil could test some prospect players like Macris, Ellem Braga and Leticia Hage, but also provide opportunitie for experienced players who were not being called by the National team like Joycinha, Suelle, Mari Paraiba and Barbara.
Japan, silver medalist of the traditional Montreux Volley Masters, was a tough opponent and Brazil needed five sets in both matches to achieve victory.
The teams will end the friendly matches series on Thursday, 16:00h in Rio de Janeiro. Only the press will be allowed to attend to the match.
MENS
In the World League, Brazil faced the host Serbia in a series of two very difficult games.
Were two tie-breaks with a win for each team. The best individual performances in Brazil were by Wallace and Lucarelli, the first, scoring 24 points in the first game and the second commanding victory on Sunday with the same 24 points.
Brazil leads Group A with 14 points, followed by Italy with 11, Serbia 8, and Australia with 3 points.
The next appointment of the Brazilian National team is in Italy against the hosts 18/06 and 21/06.
EUROPEAN
It started Saturday in Baku Azerbaijan, the first edition of the European Games, a competition that brings together the best teams in the ranking of European Volleyball Confederation.
In the female group A, Italy defeated Belgium (3-1), Azerbaijan beat Romania (3-1) and Poland surprised Turkey (3-2). In Group B, Serbia beat Croatia (3-0), Germany beat Romania (3-1) and the Netherlands overcame Russia (3-1)
For the men's competition in the group A matches, Serbia lost to Turkey (1x3), Azerbaijan tripped against Finland (2x3) and Poland beat France (3-2). In the B group to Slovakia topped Italy (3-2), Belgium was hit by Bulgaria (2x3) and Germany lost to Russia (1x3).
DINAMO KRASNODAR
Fe Garay will have two new teammates for the season 2015/2016, they are libero Daria Talysheva and mid-blocker Anastasia Shlyakhovaya both coming from Omichka-RUS.
On the other hand the mid-blockerl Julia Podskalnaya moved to the Swiss volleyball, to defend Volero Zurich next season.
