Brazil and Japan face today 4 pm, in the last friendly match of the series of four games held in Brazil in preparation for the Grand Prix and the Pan American Games.
The balance has been the tone in this series, every game ended with the score of 3-2, but Brazil leads the series with two games won, against only one for Japan.
For coach Jose Roberto Guimaraes, the match this Thursday will be important to continue to give experience for Brazilian players, who are preparing to compete in the Pan American Games and the Grand Prix.
"This series of friendlies against Japan is very positive for our group. We are taking the chance to face a strong opponent, testing and giving game rhythm for several players. We have two big competitions ahead of us and a good number of athletes working hard. Japan obliges Brazil to have a good deal of game and an efficient defense. We need a test like this, "said Jose Roberto Guimaraes.
The game could mark the debut of Fe Garay in the season, as coach Ze Roberto opted in the first three games to put on the court the new faces of the Brazilian Team.
Fe Garay is excited about the possibility of returning to play for the Brazilian Team.
"For me it's great to be here, living this every day of team, but I confess that although I like to practice, what I really like is to play. If Zé Roberto needs me, I'm ready " said the wing-spiker.
Besides Fe Garay, may also debut today the brazilian stars Jaqueline, Natalia and Gabi.
This will not be the last time the teams meet in 2015. Brazil and Japan face again in the opening game of the FIVB World Grand Prix in Bangkok, Thailand.
