Brazil
arrived this Monday (13/07) in Toronto, for the Pan-American Games. The Brazilians will debut against Puerto Rico next July 16, seeking for their fifth gold medal in the history of the competition.
Between
practices, the athletes had the opportunity to know a little of the
Pan American Village. Fe Garay, who was at the Olympic Games in
London, believes Toronto is very close, in terms of structure and conviviality, of the Olympics.
"It is a privilege for me to be here in Toronto for the opportunity to represent my country, but also because it is a competition that most closely resembles to the Olympics.
The village atmosphere and the opportunity to socialize with athletes from all sports and nationalities is very cool" analyzed the athlete.
"I expect to represent Brazil well and hopefully bring the gold medal home" concluded the wing-spiker.
